Why Spanish stays stuck
The subjunctive is not learned from a table
Nobody conjugates a chart mid-sentence. Those forms settle in by using them wrong, being corrected, and trying again two days later on a different sentence.
You have nobody to speak Spanish with
That is the actual problem, and no textbook solves it. You need someone who writes first, waits for your reply, and remembers what you told them last week.

Speaking Spanish with Roleo
Is it Spain Spanish or Latin American Spanish?
Spain Spanish, Castilian, with vosotros. That is what the app's content teaches and what the characters speak.
I only did Spanish at school, is that enough?
Yes. You pick your level at the start and your character writes at that height: short sentences, a translation available on any message, and Leo handing you the sentence when you are stuck.
Can I practise speaking out loud?
Roleo is a written conversation, and every message can be played back as audio. It builds production, not pronunciation: to work on your accent you will need a person in front of you.
