Why English stays stuck
A rule you know is not a sentence you can reach
Spotting a present perfect in an exercise is one thing. Finding it mid-conversation is a different muscle, and it only grows by producing sentences, not by ticking boxes.
Fear of judgment costs more than grammar
In front of a person, a hesitation turns into embarrassment, and embarrassment makes you avoid the situation entirely. Here nobody is watching, nobody is waiting impatiently, and you can get it wrong fifty times without consequence.

What level of English do I need to start?
No particular level. You pick yours at the start (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and your character writes at that height. A true beginner gets short sentences and a translation one tap away.
How long until I speak English?
Nobody can answer that honestly, and Roleo will not pretend to. What the app changes is frequency: producing a few English sentences every day instead of one hour a month. That regularity decides the rest.
Does this replace an English teacher?
